Technology Management

Systems Management

 

This is the heart of how Covenant works with our clients: In Systems Management, we administer, monitor, and maintain your key technology infrastructure: servers, switches, WiFi, Internet connection(s), cloud services, printers, and any other technology that is critical to your business. We are literally the "one call" you make if any of these technologies aren't working or need attention.

In practice, Covenant:

  • Monitors your network 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If something goes wrong on your network in any way, we'll know about it almost instantly. Monitors your Internet connection, and resolves problems with your Internet provider.

  • Applies software patches, updates, and "fixes" to all servers, switches, and WiFi equipment in your office. We'll often do this in the middle of the night, to avoid interfering with your company's productivity.

  • Takes care of backups. Totally. We make sure that your data is protected in case of a problem with a server or cloud service, or simply an inadvertent deleted file.

  • Handles all network administration, including adding new users, removing users who have left the company, creating new directories for projects, resetting passwords, and monitoring activity.

  • Responds to problems, quickly and effectively. Even after all this proactive maintenance, sometimes a problem does happen. Whether we notice it first (24 hour a day monitoring) or you notice it first (smoke coming from the server room), Covenant people will be investigating and fixing right away.

  • Takes responsibility. For your servers and your network and your ability to use them to take care of your business.


Onsite Support

 

If you're looking for a very dependable IT department, then Covenant has the very best solution. Hands-on desktop support for as many hours a week as you need it. At Covenant, we hire people with great interpersonal skills to be accessible, friendly, interested and capable of handling all your technology needs. Whatever comes up during the day, just grab a member of your Covenant team, and we'll handle it.

And because they spend so much time at your office, our Onsite Team will become familiar with your business and your people. They will be able to understand and react to your business-critical needs as well as your day-to-day needs. Hands-on, personal, technical assistance for your whole organization as often as you need it.


Support Center

 

We’re proud of our innovative and efficient Support Center. It’s Covenant’s “mission control”: providing you with responsive, people-based technical assistance. So even when we are not at your office, our Support Center is still available

Our experienced technology specialists provide typical “help desk” services – only without the lengthy wait times typical of most help desks. We’ll help you solve routine, day-to-day problems with your hardware, software and network. And you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your users, your network, and your technology are well taken care of.

Some examples of how Support Center can help:

  • Answering application questions: "How do I create a bar chart of my data in Excel?"

  • Providing help with hardware issues: "When I turned on my computer this morning, it just beeped once and isn't taking me into Windows. What can I do?"

  • Remoting into a computer to fix issues directly, without us having to be there.

  • Helping with network or printer problems: "I need to print to a new printer on the network, but I don't know how to do that."


Projects

 

Sometimes, our clients’ needs go beyond the day-to-day. We can help with small projects, like switching you to a new Internet service provider, installing new software onto all your workstations or upgrading/deploying a new server. We can also handle the big projects: moving your entire technology infrastructure to a new office location, designing and installing an entirely new network, taking your entire technology foundation to the next level of cost-efficiency.
